COGNITIVE INFORMATION PROCESSING (CIP) AND CAREER CHOICE – FREE TEXT BOOK
The CIP theory of career choice concerns the application of general principles of cognitive information processing to making and implementing career choices.
The recently published “Cognitive Information Processing: Career Theory, Research, and Practice” aims to improve the integration of cognitive information processing (CIP) theory, research, and practice, leading to more cost-effective career interventions that help persons to make informed and careful career decisions over a lifetime.
Published by Florida State Open as an open access book, it provides evidence of the community of practice that has grown around CIP theory with 5 editors from the United States and 24 authors from the United States and Finland.
The book can be accessed via PDF and HTML (using the Manifold system) from https://doi.org/10.33009/fsop_sampson1123.
